Policies

General Policy
-When making multiple lodging accommodations with different arrival dates, we highly recommend you create separate reservations. Extra-person charges may apply and vary depending on property policy. -Government-issued photo identification and a credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges. Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges. Special requests cannot be guaranteed. Accessibility Information: The Village at Squaw Valley is a property management company, not a hotel. Our ADA compliance is similar to that of a private home, but reasonable requests can be accommodated. ADA features include: • All Front Desks and Lobbies have ramps or street-level access, as well as elevator access. • Underground parking is equipped with an elevator for easy room access. • Showers in our fitness centers have roll-in capability. • Room numbers & elevators have braille. • Fire alarms have blinking lights in addition to sound to notify hearing-impaired individuals. • All stairwells have emergency buttons in case guests need help evacuating.
Written Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Of Summer/Fall Reservations (April 15, 2020-November 25, 2020) Must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees). Cancellation Of Winter Reservations (November 26, 2020 - April 15, 2021, Except Holiday As Below): Must be cancelled at least 14 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 14 days but more than seven (7) days prior to guest arrival date will forfeit an amount equal to Two (2) night's room rate (plus applicable taxes and fees). Cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to guest arrival will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees). Cancellation Of Holiday Reservations (For December 19, 2020 - January 2, 2021): Must be cancelled at least 30 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees). Cancellation Of Summer/Fall Reservations (April 16-November 24, 2021): Must be cancelled at least 5 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 5 day prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).
Written Deposit Policy
Summer/Fall 2020 (May 31-November 25, 2020) A deposit of one (1) night room and tax is due at the time of booking. Final payment inclusive of all taxes and fees is due 24 hours prior to guest arrival. If the reservation is booked inside 24 hours from arrival full payment is due at the time of booking. Winter 2020-21 (November 26, 2020 - April 15, 2021, Excluding Christmas/New Year's Holiday) A deposit of two (2) nights room and tax is due at the time of booking. Final payment inclusive of all taxes and fees is due 7 days prior to guest arrival. If the reservation is booked inside 7 days from arrival full payment is due at the time of booking. Holiday (December 19, 2020 - January 2, 2021) A deposit of two (2) nights room and tax is due at the time of booking. Final payment inclusive of all taxes and fees is due 30 days prior to guest arrival. If the reservation is booked inside 30 days from arrival full payment is due at the time of booking. Summer/Fall 2021 (April 16-November 24, 2021, Excluding Holidays) A deposit of two (2) night room and tax is due at the time of booking. Final payment inclusive of all taxes and fees is due 5 days prior to guest arrival. If the reservation is booked inside 5 days from arrival full payment is due at the time of booking.

Other Policy
• Masks are required on property in all indoor spaces • Hot tubs, saunas, and fitness center are currently closed. • For details on our cleaning procedures, please visit: https://squawalpine.com/welcome-back/?tab=ui-id-2 • Please note rooms are sitting vacant for 24 hours prior to arrival and will not be occupied. • Upon arrival to the room, all dishes, utensils, and glasses can be found clean and untouched in the dishwasher. • All rooms are undergoing thorough disinfection on all high touch points • We will not be preforming any housekeeping services in occupied rooms. We are happy to deliver any items you may need to your room. Just call the front desk by dialing 0 on a room phone or 530-584-6205 from a cell phone to request items. • The Village at Squaw Valley does not have central air conditioning. To help alleviate this issue, there are a limited quantity of portable air-conditioning units. The temperatures at night are cool, ranging on average between 40 to 55 degrees. Guests are encouraged to open any windows and utilize the in-room fan(s) which will cool the room. • We will certainly do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have, though, due to some limitations, we can't guarantee every request. Please contact the front desk for more information at 530-584-1000. • The Village at Squaw Valley has very limited electric car charging stations, and the limited amount we have is located in our outdoor parking lot and NOT in our underground parking garage. There are additional electric car charging stations in Truckee and Tahoe City. • If you're staying with us during the Fall or Spring time (mid-September to mid-November and/or mid-April to mid-May) there may be some village restaurants or shops that will have minimal operations or even be closed. This time of year is very slow, and restaurants often close early so please plan accordingly and remember that all rooms have full kitchens except for Standard Rooms. It is a great time to visit as it is peaceful, relaxing and we offer very low rates during these times as well due to not having all services fully open and available. • 2020/2021 Winter Policy: Please note that reservations or other limited access measures may be necessary to access 20/21 Ikon pass destinations. Policies will vary by destination and/or may be subject to change without notice.
